Dr. Cecilia CERESA (research fellow) studies in vitro and in vivo chemotherapy activity and toxicity, with a special focus on CIPN. Dr. Ceresa gained 8 years experience in molecular and cell biology fields, particularly in the study of cancer cells and neuron molecular mechanisms. She is also involved in pre-clinical in vivo CIPN animal models studies. Dr. Ceresa is co-author of 16 papers published in international peer-reviewed journals and of 2 book chapters. She also participated in many national and international conferences.

Prof. Guido CAVALETTI studies chemotherapy induced peripheral neurotoxicity (CIPN). He developed different in vivo and in vitro models of CIPN. Since 1990 he is supervisor for the neurological evaluation in clinical trials directed to assess chemotherapy side effects on the nervous system and the effects of neuro-protective agents. Prof. Cavaletti is involved in both pre-clinical and clinical research studies. He is co-author of over 170 manuscripts on international peer-reviewed journals and of 7 book chapters published internationally.
